What is QuickShip?

QuickShip is a program that allows you to ship electronics for sustainable recycling and certified data erasure of your IT equipment to a Quantum facility from anywhere in Canada, from your door to our facility.

 

Do you offer bulk discounts?

Our bulk discounts apply to equipment shipments of 10 or more. For more information about discounts, please contact us at quickshipsupport@quantumlifecycle.com

 

What items do you accept?

Laptops, desktops, cellphones with/without charging cables, monitors, and small desktop printers.

 

What are the sizes and weight capacity of each box? 

Smartphone box - 8”x 4”x 2”: up to 2 lbs

Laptop box - 16”x12”x4”: up to 8 lbs

Multipurpose box - 16”x 16”x 16”: up to 20 lbs

 

How does the self ship option work?

With the self shipping option you can send in your electronics using your own secure packaging. When you select this option, you will receive a shipping label by email. 

 

How can I track my shipment?

Every QuickShip package comes with a trackable return label, and we will email you the tracking number for the return shipment once your order has been confirmed.

 

I never received my order confirmation email for my QuickShip order. Who should I contact?

We recommend checking your junk/spam folder as your email service provider may have flagged it as potential spam. If you do not find it there, please contact us at quickshipsupport@quantumlifecycle.com and we will be happy to help you.

  

My company is located in a remote area and we have a consistent flow of end-of-life electronics. Would you be able to provide me with a subscription service?

We can certainly look into that. Please contact us at quickshipsupport@quantumlifecycle.com so that we can gain a better understanding of your needs and provide you with the best possible solution.

 

Do I have to pay for the recycling of my electronics as well?

No, you do not need to pay any extra costs apart from what you paid at checkout. 

 

Can I ship household appliances via QuickShip?      

Unfortunately, we do not accept household appliances through this program. You can only ship items listed here.

 

I have sensitive data; do you destroy the hard drive? What proof do I get that it has been destroyed? Is this included in the price?

All devices received through the QuickShip program are recycled. if you require a certificate of data destruction be sure to select the 'Enhanced' option. 

 

Can I get a refund for my purchase? 

Unfortunately, once a box has been shipped or a return shipping label has been delivered we cannot offer a refund.

 

Can I be reimbursed if my shipped package gets lost or damaged?

Unfortunately, we cannot take responsibility for lost or damaged packages. However, we recommend that you purchase shipping insurance to protect your package during transit.
